One of the main reasons for the horrible performance is that, we have been giving too much importance to cricketers and results rather than cricket and hard play.
Unpredictable results can be understood; but not unpredictable performance. We have been seeing the latter.
We need to get realistic about the capability of our team. Is it not just an average, middle level team capable of winning a few matches when conditions suit?
