Immigration and national economies.. random thoughts

after a recent visit to the US, realised that English must be one of the least spoken languages in the subways..which is no surprise given that it is a country built by immigrants. the diversity of thought and determinedness of immigrants can be seen in the USA.

which brings us to China and India. I am gung ho about both these countries, but where will they bring in the variety in society half a century from now? both countries are too populous to have immigration.
